Spot on. To my mind you aint a darts fan if you can’t be happy for the winner whether it is a player you like or not. People should give Ted his due in the 2009 final he played a blinding game. He actually played blinding games all the way through the BDO last year

To be fair to Hankey, darts requires intense concentration and is played in a pub atmosphere. Fine if you’re in a pub, but not so much if you’re trying to make a living off of it.
He may have been a bit heavy-handed with it, and maybe he shouldn’t have risen to the bait, but really, what did he do so wrong? He was being heckled while trying to hit an important checkout, and a request for quiet gets boos. Why is that okay?

Fair enough if you want to be seen as the “bad boy”, or in his case the vampire, yes he looks like one he doesnt want people to like him and wants a reaction from the crowd, but he is rude, arrogant and too much of an attitude.
